My art arises from the intertwining of mathematics and geometry, elements that have always fascinated me and that I seek to transpose into visual compositions that speak of order, harmony, and dynamism. My artistic practice is a journey that began with the decoration of my sweaters and has, over the years, evolved into increasingly complex works, where cross-stitch and embroidery on canvas have become my distinctive tools.

 

Geometric shapes form the foundation of my expression: I draw, embroider, and also work digitally. Ancient cultures, such as the Maya, Aztec, Inca, and Byzantine, have been a fundamental inspiration. These peoples passed down powerful symbols to me, which I have reinterpreted in a personal way, giving them new life through my visual language. My passion for color is the engine that drives every creation: vibrant tones and strong contrasts are never accidental. Through the use of vivid colors, precise geometric shapes, and a reflective process, my art aims to evoke positive emotions such as joy, energy, harmony, and deep reflection.

 

After a difficult period that led me to deeply reflect on myself, I decided to fully dedicate myself to my art. My approach was enriched by the use of digital art, a natural evolutionary step that allowed me to expand the possibilities of geometry. Starting from a tradition-based foundation, I began to explore Optical Art, creating increasingly abstract and complex compositions. The introduction of technology has transformed my research, but the heart of my practice remains unchanged: each composition begins with a sequence of shapes and colors that intertwine like a mosaic, in search of a visual and logical balance.

 

The use of markers, oil pastels, and acrylics allows me to explore new expressive dimensions, giving depth and brightness to my works. The small color squares, arranged with precision, become a gesture of joy and energy that I wish to transmit to those who view my pieces. Each individual piece is the result of a reflective process that aims to combine logic and sensation, rigor and freedom.

 

My research is an ongoing dialogue with art, without limits, driven by curiosity and influenced by great masters such as M.C. Escher, Friedensreich Hundertwasser, Sol LeWitt, Frank Stella, Piet Mondrian, and Sonia Delaunay. To them, I owe my vision of geometry as a universal language, capable of transcending time and space, and my continuous drive towards new forms of expression.

 

My artistic journey is self-taught, and it has led me to discover a passion that never stops evolving. My art is the result of a meeting between mathematics, culture, color, and sensation, and my desire is for every work I create to bring a smile, a reflection, a moment of joy to those who observe it.
